South Korean startup Galaxy Corp has opened Galaxy Robot Arena at Dubai Mall, with Emaar Entertainment and Reel Cinemas. It is the company’s second robot venue, after one in Seoul that opened in August.
At a launch on Friday, humanoid robots danced to K-pop and to Middle Eastern music. Robots dressed as astronauts carried the flags of South Korea and the UAE, the company said.
Next stops
Galaxy Corp ran a campaign in Times Square last month. It plans further arenas in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore, and describes the shows as physical artificial-intelligence entertainment.
